Back in 2025, we shared how we’ve developed an LLM-driven code review system named BewAIre that we run on both internal and external PRs to detect malicious code changes at scale. For each change, it extracts, normalizes, and enriches the diff before submitting it to a two-stage LLM pipeline that classifies the change as benign or malicious, along with a structured rationale.
